Energy Study

An Energy Audit is a comprehensive study of all aspects, both technical and economic, that directly or indirectly affect the consumption of different energies in a building or industry and whose objective is to establish a rational set of reforms or improvements aimed at a rational use of energy.

With the audit, a sufficiently reliable knowledge of the company’s energy consumption is obtained, the factors that affect energy consumption are detected and energy and economic savings opportunities are identified, evaluated and ordered.

The stages to be carried out are as follows:

The overall objective of this European standard is to help organisations to establish the systems and processes needed to improve energy efficiency. This should lead to reductions in consumption, costs and greenhouse gas emissions. It is applicable to all types and sizes of organizations.

This standard for energy management systems can be used independently or integrated with any other management system. The structure of this standard is similar to that of quality management (UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015) and environmental management (UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015).
